Automatic plan assignment uses rules to automatically assign commission plans to agents based on specific criteria. This eliminates manual assignment work and ensures agents are on the correct plan based on their performance or other factors.
The system evaluates assignment rules periodically (often daily or when triggered). When an agent meets the conditions of a rule, they are automatically assigned to the specified commission plan. Rules are evaluated in order, and the first matching rule applies.
Assignment rules are evaluated in a specific order. The first rule that matches an agent's criteria will assign that plan. Order your rules from most specific to least specific to ensure the right plan is assigned.
Automatic assignment runs on a schedule. If you need immediate assignment, you can manually assign plans or trigger the assignment process manually.
