Market Areas Report

Where the brokerage closes business: closed sales and leases grouped by city, ZIP code or state, with closings, volume, GCI, share, which side you held and the top agent in each area. Click an area for the deals behind it.

Updated September 25, 2026

Where to Find It: Admin Tools in the left sidebar, or press / for Search, then Reports and Accounting under Deals & Compensation. Open the Transaction Reports menu and pick Market Areas.

Who can see it: administrators with the Transaction and Financials permission. Agents do not have this report.

What It Shows

Every closed sale and lease in the year or month you pick, grouped by where the property is. Each row is one area with its closings, units, volume, average price, GCI, company income, its share of all closings in the view, how many were listing side, buyer side or both, and the agent with the most units there. Referral deals are not included. A co-represented deal counts as one property.

Filters

  • Year and Month: the closed date. Month blank means the whole year.
  • Type: Sales and leases, Sales, or Leases.
  • Group by: City, ZIP code, or State. City rows show how many ZIP codes sit inside them. ZIP rows carry the city name so you can read them without a map.

Drill Down and Export

  • Click any area name to open the deals behind that row: date, address, agent, side and price. The address opens the deal in Transaction Manager.
  • Export this data downloads the table as a CSV with the current filters.
Note: Messy address data is folded together for you. TX, Tx and Texas count as one state. MIAMI, Miami and a city typed with a trailing comma count as one city. A ZIP entered with the four-digit extension counts under its five-digit ZIP. Closings with no city, ZIP or state on file are left out and counted in a line under the table so the total still reconciles with the Company report.
Tip: The Executive Summary PDF has a matching Market Areas page with the top 10 cities and top 10 ZIP codes. You can also ask the AI assistant "Where are we selling the most this year?" and it answers from the same numbers.
