Understanding Transaction Details

Overview of the transaction detail page and all available information.

The Transaction Detail Page

Each transaction has a detail page that pulls every piece of information together: parties, financials, documents, notes, history, and admin actions. This is where most day-to-day transaction work happens.

Opening a Transaction

From the dashboard or transactions list, click any row to land on the detail page. The URL includes the transaction ID, so you can deep-link or bookmark a specific transaction.

What the Page Shows

  • Property summary: address, side, price, type, status.
  • Parties: buyer / seller (or tenant / landlord), cooperating agents, title company.
  • Financials: commission breakdown, agent net compensation, transaction fees, bonuses.
  • Documents: all attached files; upload, view, or delete from this section.
  • Notes: running activity log with manual notes and system-generated entries (close, edit, etc.).
  • Admin actions: for admins, buttons to generate CDA, Invoice, Close, or Duplicate the transaction.

Commission Breakdown

Since the February 2026 update, the commission section shows a more detailed breakdown: gross commission, brokerage portion, agent net, transaction fee, bonus, and any distribution rules that applied (royalty, referral, team leader). The breakdown helps agents and admins reconcile against the CDA.

Duplicate Transaction

Added in April 2026, the Duplicate action creates a new transaction prefilled with the current one's party info. Useful for back-to-back deals with the same client or for property-management lease renewals that look almost identical to last year.

Editing

Agents can edit their own transactions unless the brokerage requires team-leader approval. Admins can edit any transaction. See Editing Transaction Details for what each field controls.

Closing the Transaction

When the deal is done, admins use the Close Transaction action. Closing locks in the numbers, writes to the audit log, and triggers automatic plan advancement.

Info: The transaction detail page is the source of truth. Any document or note you add here is what shows up on CDAs, invoices, and reports.
