Adding a Training Video
Nothing is uploaded: you paste a YouTube link and YouTube fills in the rest. What is required, what is fetched for you, and why a video can refuse to play.

Who can use it: administrators. You also need a category to put the video in, and the form tells you to create your first one if you have none.
There Is No Upload
BrokerChamp does not host video. The library is built from YouTube links, so a video has to be on YouTube before it can go in. Nothing is stored on your side but the link and what YouTube tells us about it.
Adding One
Step 1: Paste the full YouTube URL into the YouTube Video URL box.
Step 2: Pick a Category. If the one you want is not listed, type it into Need a new category? and press Create & Select, which makes it and selects it in one go.
Step 3: Click Add Video to Library. The title, the description, the thumbnail and the date are fetched from YouTube automatically. You do not type any of them.
Note: All four of those can be edited afterwards from Edit Video Details, so a YouTube title written for the public can be rewritten for your agents. The link itself cannot be changed: a wrong video is deleted and re-added.
When It Will Not Take the Video
- A link BrokerChamp cannot read as a YouTube video is refused straight away.
- A video YouTube will not return, because it was deleted or made private, is refused as unavailable.
- A video that exists but has embedding switched off is added and then flagged as not embeddable, because it cannot play inside BrokerChamp.
Warning: Embedding is the one that catches people out. In YouTube Studio, open the video, click Show more, and under License and distribution make sure Allow embedding is ticked. Save, then reload the Video Library Manager. The page offers those steps itself on any video it has flagged.
Tip: Unlisted videos work fine and are usually the right choice for internal training. Private ones do not, because BrokerChamp cannot see them any more than a stranger can.
