Onboarding Manager Overview
Admin tools for tracking and managing new agent applications and onboarding progress.
What the Onboarding Manager Is
The Onboarding Manager is the admin side of agent onboarding. It is where admins kick off a new agent's onboarding, send them the onboarding link, attach the documents they need to sign, track progress, and complete or cancel onboarding records.
Where to Find It
Open Admin → Onboarding Manager from the admin menu. The page header reads "Onboarding Manager" with a list of agents grouped by onboarding state.
Sections on the Page
The manager organizes agents into collapsible accordion sections by status:
- Initialized: onboarding record exists but the agent has not received their link yet.
- Link Sent: onboarding link emailed to the agent; they have not finished yet.
- In Progress: agent has started filling out documents.
- Completed: agent finished onboarding.
- Canceled: onboarding was canceled before completion.
What You Can Do From Here
- Initialize a new onboarding: opens the Initialize Onboarding modal to add a new agent.
- Send the link: emails the onboarding URL to the agent so they can begin.
- Manage attachments: attach or remove required documents on a specific onboarding record.
- Cancel onboarding: halts an in-progress record (e.g., the candidate withdrew).
- Re-send the link: if the original email got lost or expired.
How It Connects to the Rest of BrokerChamp
- Onboarding Report: the report counterpart at Reporting → Onboarding Report shows the same data in tabular form for export.
- Reporting dashboard: the Company Reporting Dashboard shows onboarding summary tiles (in progress / completed / canceled).
- Agent profile: on completion, the onboarding record is linked to the agent's profile so the original docs and timestamps are retrievable.
Info: The Onboarding Manager only appears for admins with onboarding permission. The agent-side onboarding flow (the candidate's walkthrough) lives at a different URL and is described in
Understanding Onboarding.
Tip: Make Onboarding Manager review a weekly admin habit. Five minutes per week catches stalled new-hires before they go cold.
