Understanding Required Documents

Overview of documents that new agents must complete during the onboarding process.

What are Required Documents?

Required Documents are onboarding forms that new agents must complete before their sponsorship can be finalized. These documents typically include employment agreements, commission plans, board applications, and other legal or administrative forms required by your brokerage. All documents are displayed as PDFs that you fill out directly in your browser.

Accessing Required Documents

  • 1. Navigate to the onboarding section (you'll be directed here after starting onboarding)
  • 2. The Required Documents page displays:
  • - Document list on the right sidebar
  • - Progress counter (X of Y documents complete)
  • - PDF viewer in the center
  • - Field completion counter on the left
  • 3. Click on any document in the list to open it
  • 4. Fill out all required fields in each document

Document List

The document list shows all required documents for your onboarding. Each document is displayed with a file icon and friendly name. Completed documents show a green checkmark. The list also displays a progress counter showing how many documents you've completed out of the total required. Click on any document to open it in the PDF viewer.

Document Types

Documents may include various types of fields: - Text fields: Enter your name, address, license number, etc. - Checkboxes: Select options or confirm agreements - Signature fields: Electronically sign the document - Initial fields: Provide your initials where required - Date fields: Automatically filled with today's date - Static fields: Pre-filled information that cannot be changed

Progress Tracking

The system tracks your progress in two ways: 1. Document completion: Shows how many documents you've completed (X of Y documents complete) 2. Field completion: Shows how many fields you've filled in the current document (X of Y fields complete) A document is considered complete when all required fields are filled. Completed documents are marked with a green checkmark in the document list.

Auto-Save Feature

Your progress is automatically saved as you work. After you stop typing for 1.5 seconds, your changes are saved to the server. You'll see a "Saving..." indicator, followed by a "Saved" confirmation. This means you can take breaks and return to your documents without losing your progress.

You must complete all required documents before you can proceed to the Account Information step. The "Next - Account Information" button only appears after all documents are complete.
