What happened to Brokermint?

Brokermint was acquired by BoomTown in 2021. In 2024, Inside Real Estate, which had already acquired BoomTown, folded Brokermint into their BoldTrail platform and rebranded it BoldTrail Back Office.

If you're a current Brokermint customer, your tool is now a module inside a much larger all-in-one ecosystem that also includes a CRM, lead gen, and IDX products you may not want or need. That's why so many brokers are searching for alternatives right now.

BrokerChamp is the opposite model: a focused back-office platform, bootstrapped and founder-owned, that plugs in alongside the CRM you already have. No acquisition roadmap. No rebrands. No suite-of-products you never signed up for.

How much does Brokermint cost?

Brokermint does not publish a price. As of July 30, 2026, neither brokermint.com nor the BoldTrail Back Office product page lists a rate, a per-user cost, or a starting figure anywhere. Both route every pricing question to a demo request or a sales call. BoldTrail describes its tiers only as flexible packages configured to each brokerage.

That means you cannot budget for it before you talk to sales, and the number you are quoted is specific to your agent count and the modules you end up with, and you will not know how it changes as you grow until you ask sales again.

What third parties report, and why they disagree

Because Brokermint publishes nothing, software review sites fill the gap with their own estimates. Those estimates do not agree with each other, and the gaps between them are not small.

Source What it reports Dated
Hooquest $99/mo Simple Start for up to 5 users, $169/mo Standard, $239/mo Enterprise. Notes setup fees and extra MLS integration fees on top. Page marked 2024
SoftwareSuggest $79 per user per month Simple Start, $129 per user per month Standard, $179 per user per month Enterprise. Updated Jul 26, 2026
Software Connect Starting price $99/mo, described as covering up to 5 users. No date given
Software Finder Estimates $99/mo to start, then adds $1,000 to $8,000 implementation, $500 to $5,000 data migration, $300 to $3,000 integrations, and $500 to $6,000 training. Updated May 26, 2026

The disagreement is not at the margins. One source reports a flat $99 a month. Another reports $79 per user, per month. For any brokerage past a handful of agents those two readings differ by an order of magnitude, and they cannot both be right. Software Finder's page carries its own disclaimer that its figures come from publicly available third-party information and industry benchmarks rather than from the vendor.

None of these are Brokermint's numbers. They are outside guesses at a price the vendor declines to publish, which is the whole point. You will not know what Brokermint costs your brokerage until you finish a sales call. You can see what BrokerChamp costs yours right now, on a public page, without talking to anyone.

Third-party figures retrieved July 30, 2026 from hooquest.com, softwaresuggest.com, softwareconnect.com, and softwarefinder.com. Reported as published by those sites, with their own dates where given. They are not endorsed, verified, or supplied by Brokermint or by us.

BrokerChamp is the better fit if…

  • You want a flat, predictable bill that isn't priced per agent, and goes down if your agent count drops
  • You don't want to pay for migration on top of setup
  • Your agent website and back office should be on one bill
  • You want to be live in 2 weeks, not 2 months
  • You keep your CRM (kvCORE, Chime) and need back-office only

Questions from Brokermint & BoldTrail shoppers

Is Brokermint now BoldTrail?
Yes. Brokermint is now called BoldTrail Back Office. Inside Real Estate rebranded it in 2024 when it unified its products, which also include BoldTrail (formerly kvCORE) and BoomTown, under the BoldTrail name. The product you knew as Brokermint is the back-office module of that larger platform.
What is BoldTrail Back Office?
BoldTrail Back Office is the current name for Brokermint. It handles the back-end business processes for a brokerage: transactions, commission calculation, agent billing, and reporting. It sits inside Inside Real Estate's wider BoldTrail platform alongside their CRM, lead generation, and IDX products, rather than being sold as a standalone tool.
I'm a current Brokermint / BoldTrail Back Office customer. Can you migrate me?
Yes, migration from Brokermint / BoldTrail Back Office is included free. We'll move your transaction history, agent records, and commission data. The 15-minute fit call is the right place to walk through your specific setup and confirm what transfers.
Will my historical transactions and commission records come over?
In most cases, yes. What transfers depends on the format of your existing data. Brokermint exports are generally clean. Bring your specific situation to the fit call and we'll tell you exactly what carries over before you commit to anything.
We also use kvCORE (also Inside Real Estate). Does that still work?
Yes. BrokerChamp is explicitly not a CRM. It's designed to run alongside kvCORE, Chime, or whatever CRM your agents already use, and every lead it captures from your website is copied into that CRM the moment it arrives. You don't have to give up kvCORE to replace your back office. That's actually the point.
Does BrokerChamp do everything BoldTrail Back Office does?
For back-office functionality (transactions, compliance, commissions, agent communications, onboarding, reporting), yes. BrokerChamp also covers two of the pieces BoldTrail wraps around the back office: IDX property search on your website and agent landing pages, and lead capture with round-robin routing and a speed-to-lead clock. What it is not is a CRM. There's no drip-campaign engine or long-term database nurture, so if that's what you're using kvCORE or Chime for, keep it. Every lead BrokerChamp captures is copied straight into it.
How long does the switch actually take?
We target go-live in about two weeks. That includes data migration, configuration for your commission plans, and getting agents set up. If something about your brokerage's setup would change that timeline, we'll tell you before you sign anything.
