SkySlope built its reputation on transaction documents, forms, and e-signature, and it earned that reputation. The question for a growing brokerage is what you have to add on top before the back office is actually complete.
| Capability | BrokerChamp | SkySlope |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Flat fee per brokerage, up to 100 agents included, published on the site | Suite listed as starting at $340/mo. E-signature and back office are separately priced add-ons with no published rates. |
| Transaction management & compliance | Checklists by transaction type, missing-document flagging, audit trail | Strong. Checklists, document storage, audit trail, Quick Audit review, broker dashboard. |
| Forms, e-signature & disclosures | Company form library and document collection. E-signature on onboarding and document requests. | Deeper here. MLS-synced Forms included, DigiSign e-signature as a paid add-on, plus state disclosure products. |
| Commission automation | Included. Splits, caps, tiers, bonuses, referrals, team deals, deal-level exceptions. | In the paid Books add-on. Tiered splits, fees, royalties, and dynamic team capping. |
| Agent billing (what agents owe you) | Included. Ledger, monthly fees from the comp plan, late-fee policies, automatic statements. | In the paid Books add-on. Auto-invoicing, recurring fees, scheduled card charges. |
| Electronic payouts at closing | Included. Paid from your own connected account, with automatic reversal handling. | In the paid Books add-on. Next-day transfers through their payment partner. |
| Agent onboarding & recruiting pipeline | Included. Packet builder, self-serve agent setup, pipeline tracking, bulk document collection. | Not offered as a product. |
| Brokerage website & agent roster sync | Included. Auto-synced rosters, office pages, and drop-in widgets. | Not offered. |
| Lead capture, routing & agent landing pages | Included. Capture widgets, round-robin routing with a speed-to-lead clock, designed agent pages, and forwarding to your CRM. | Not offered. |
| AI | Champ AI, a conversational assistant grounded in your brokerage's own data, plus AI contract intake and document sorting. | AI features rather than an assistant: signature detection in audit, voice input for form creation, contract data handling. |
| QuickBooks & 1099 | Included. Balance-checked monthly export, 1099 totals, automated IRS TIN verification. | In the Books add-on. QuickBooks API integration and 1099 reports. |
| Ownership | Founder-owned and bootstrapped. No outside investors. | Majority-owned by Fidelity National Financial, a publicly traded title insurance company, since 2017. |
SkySlope details reflect that company's own public pricing, product, and company pages as of July 2026, including the SkySlope Suite starting price and the add-on status of DigiSign and SkySlope Books. Ownership reflects Fidelity National Financial's 2017 announcement of a majority interest. Confirm current pricing and terms directly with SkySlope before making a decision.
SkySlope's published price covers the Suite: transactions, compliance, and forms. That is a genuinely good product and for a brokerage that only needs document management, it may be all you need.
But the pieces most brokerages mean when they say "back office" are not in that number. Commission automation, agent billing, electronic payouts, 1099s, and the QuickBooks connection all live in SkySlope Books, a separate add-on. E-signature lives in DigiSign, another add-on. Neither has a published price, so the only way to learn your real monthly cost is to get on a call with sales.
BrokerChamp's answer is one number that already includes all of it, published on the pricing page, with the front-office half (your website, lead capture, and agent landing pages) that SkySlope does not sell at all. Whether that is a better deal depends on your brokerage, which is exactly why the fit call is fifteen minutes and free.
Your priority is document workflow above all else: MLS-synced forms, deep e-signature, state-specific digital disclosures, and enterprise or MLS-level integrations. You already have accounting handled elsewhere, or you are willing to buy the Books add-on to get it.
You want the whole back office on one bill and one login: commissions, agent billing, payouts, compliance, onboarding, plus the brokerage website, lead capture, and agent landing pages. You would rather see the price on a web page than assemble a quote from three modules.
